Marcus Kleinfeld was born in 1979 in Berlin. He studied BA (Hons) Fine Art & Theory at Chelsea College of Art and Design from 2003-06, during which time he spent a year studying at Ecole Superior des Beaux-Arts, Villa Arson, Nice, France. He completed an MFA in Fine Art Practice at Goldsmiths College in 2008, since which he has lived and worked in Cologne. Kleinfeld shows in solo and group exhibitions internationally, and won the BCC (Brussels Cologne Contemporaries) Award in 2013.
