Kit Garnett graduated from Hereford College of Arts in 2019 with a BA (Hons) in artist blacksmithing, specialising in forged metalwork. His work investigates sudden changes and movements of energy, often integrating fluid forms into more regular designs in an effort to capture and display a momentary elision of chaos and beauty.

Garnett's 'Smokescreen Gate' was selected for display at the London Design Centre's 2019 Annual Exhibition for emerging designer-makers, where he was shortlisted by the Goldsmiths' Centre as one of ten 'rising stars' demonstrating outstanding talent and skill.

He has a permanent workshop on the English border to Wales, where he is now taking on commissions.
